Business Development Director

Tristan likes to bring a client centred approach to business development at i4pd, and has extensive international experience in medical product development services.

Recently he was the General Manager of a sustainable product design and manufacturing company where he was directly involved in the development and certification of their latest products and his diverse array of industry and consulting experience makes him the perfect fit for i4pd.

What is your approach to design?
I challenge design options at an early stage with every possible user constraint to identify the most robust design possible.

What are your three favourite designed products?
Ortlieb Panniers – they are sturdily constructed with adjustable positioning and a well-engineered quick release/attachment system
The Burton ‘Custom’ Snowboard – the company continues to refine the composition and design of the board to produce stunning performance
Ridgeback Flight – this 2015 model carries me to and from work each day and makes the 600ft accent to the studio from my village a breeze and a controlled decent through my local park's dirt trails

What interests you?
Bicycle touring, growing vegetables and pop-up cinema.
What product could you not live without?
Double or triple glazed windows. I’m not sure how I could survive the winter without them!
