i4 Product Design partners with the UK's leading entrepreneurial programme

January 30, 2020

i4pd announces its partnership with the UK's leading company creation programme, Scotland’s Converge Challenge. Since its launch in 2010, the entrepreneurial programme has trained 300 entrepreneurs, helped create more than 180 companies, and secured more than £100m in funding, positively impacting the Scottish economy.

An Employee-Owned business since 2018, i4pd’s consulting expertise underpinned by industry experience commits to a fine balance of design elegance and practical engineering excellence. The consultancy specialises in working with start-ups and has previously supported Converge alumni, bringing both new concepts and improved products to market.

Business Development Director Tristan Elliott says i4pd is an ideal collaborator for entrepreneurs at the beginning of their journey and in need of support from a holistic, business creation perspective, not just in product design: “We are thrilled to be selected by Converge as their product design and development partner as they have crafted a really effective innovation programme for entrepreneurs and creative thinkers.”

Claudia Cavalluzzo, Director of Converge, calls i4pd’s experience in developing commercially successful products “second to none”:

“Our new partnership with i4pd is great news for Converge participants; launching a new product to market is no mean feat so their advice and insight will be invaluable.”

2020 marks the 10th anniversary of the Converge programme, and alumni companies share a survival rate of more than 80 per cent. i4pd has proudly worked with previous Converge winners such as Shot Scope, NovosoundCurrent HealthWheelAir and Pick Protection.
