Based in Toronto, Scott will support clients across the United States and Canada, providing a local point of contact backed by i4PD's team of product designers, engineers and compliance specialists. The appointment represents another step in the growth of i4 Product Design North America, helping the company build closer relationships with organisations developing innovative products across the region.
Scott brings more than 25 years of experience delivering complex product development programmes across the medical device, automotive, defence and precision engineering sectors.
Throughout his career, he has held senior roles with StarFish Medical, Litens Automotive, IMAX and L3Harris (WESCAM), helping companies move products from concept to commercialisation. Alongside Scott's engineering background, he brings extensive commercial experience and is named on multiple patents.
With this appointment and the i4PD location in Toronto, the company is further committing its support to clients across Canada and the US. Working closely with i4PD's UK-based team, Scott will help organisations create development plans and priorities for access to the expertise needed to develop innovative products, navigate technical challenges and progress efficiently towards manufacture.
Scott is representing i4PD at The MedTech Conference in Boston this October, engaging with innovators, manufacturers and technology leaders from across the medical device sector.
We encourage organisations exploring their next product development challenge to connect with Scott to discuss how i4PD can support projects, from an early-stage concept development, through to commercial manufacture, or anything in between.
